TOKiMONSTA aka Jennifer Lee has revealed the powerful video for her new single I Wish I Could feat. Selah Sue featured on her new album Lune Rouge.
Directed by Mitchell deQuilettes (Childish Gambino, Frank Ocean, Flume) and premiered via Pitchfork, the compelling visuals for I Wish I Could feat. Selah Sue is a tale of redemption that brings awareness to the current hospital and medical culture.

“It means a lot to me to finally put visuals to a song that is so significant to me. After undergoing two brain surgeries and being unable to create, this song was the very first song I was able to complete upon my recovery,” says Lee.
Following an extensive four month worldwide tour including sets at Reading & Leeds and Sunny Side Up, the revered music trendsetter and dance world entrepreneur has recently also commenced a coveted residency at BBC Radio 1.
Lee’s work as TOKIMONSTA gained widespread recognition from the very start with her debut album Midnight Menu. The album cemented her reputation as a formidable presence of the then-emerging West Coast beat scene. She quickly became a festival mainstay with performances at Coachella, Panorama, Moog Fest, Time Festival, Roskilde and Beyond the Valley to name a few and gaining critical acclaim along the way.
